U.S. Dealer & Import Coordination

A domestic E-PROPS path for U.S. aircraft owners.

For E-PROPS orders handled through Lima Charlie Aero, U.S. aircraft owners get a domestic dealer point of contact for selection, ordering coordination, import/shipping handling, installation planning, vibration follow-up, and post-sale support. Instead of managing overseas ordering, customs questions, international shipment details, time-zone differences, language friction, and technical back-and-forth alone, you work with a U.S.-based dealer who understands Rotax and light-sport aircraft configuration.

The goal is to match the aircraft, engine, gearbox, rotation, clearance, mission, and documentation before purchase, then keep one informed U.S. contact point through ordering, arrival, installation planning, vibration questions, and practical after-service support.

Before order

Review the aircraft configuration, current propeller, performance goal, installation data, and documentation needed to identify the appropriate E-PROPS path.

Ordering / import coordination

Coordinate the order path, available import and shipment details, status communication, and questions involving international shipping or customs requirements for orders handled through Lima Charlie Aero.

Install / vibration / after-service

Support installation planning, configuration questions, vibration checks or follow-up, and post-sale communication within the aircraft documents and applicable work scope.

Why E-PROPS

A product line that fits the same configuration-first standard.

Lima Charlie Aero carries E-PROPS because the product line aligns with how we evaluate aircraft: configuration first, measured fitment, documented selection, low unnecessary weight, and traceable owner decisions.

In our view, E-PROPS is one of the strongest ground-adjustable propeller choices available for the right Rotax and light-sport applications. We do not treat any propeller as universal; aircraft model, engine model, gearbox, rotation, clearance, mission, documentation, and installation requirements still control the final recommendation.

Start With The Aircraft

The catalog comes after the configuration.

Propeller selection begins with the aircraft and operating goal, not a model name alone.

Product Family Overview

Match the propeller family to the actual application.

E-PROPS families support different engine and aircraft paths. Fitment and documentation must be confirmed before ordering or installation planning.

E-PROPS Durandal three-blade propeller

Ground-adjustable

Durandal / Excalibur

Ground-adjustable E-PROPS support for appropriate Rotax and gear-drive applications. Selection depends on aircraft model, engine model, gearbox ratio, rotation direction, configuration, clearance, mission, and documentation.

E-PROPS Glorieuse propeller for applicable Rotax aircraft

Variable pitch / constant speed

Glorieuse

In-flight variable pitch / constant-speed planning support for applicable Rotax 9xx aircraft. This path requires careful review of aircraft compatibility, regulator or governor requirements, installation data, and owner goals.

Direct-drive applications

Ascalon

Direct-drive application support where E-PROPS fitment applies. This is not the primary Rotax 9 Series path unless the aircraft and engine application specifically calls for it.

Durandal / Excalibur

Ground-adjustable support for the right gear-drive application.

Available product configurations include multiple blade counts and diameters. Carbon construction and titanium leading-edge protection are product-family considerations, but the useful question is whether a specific configuration matches the aircraft, engine, gearbox, rotation, clearance, mission, and applicable documentation.

Selection review

  • Aircraft and engine identification
  • Gearbox ratio and rotation
  • Diameter, spinner, and clearance
  • Blade count and mission tradeoffs
  • Applicable installation data

Ascalon

Direct-drive support stays secondary to the core Rotax path.

Ascalon may be considered for direct-drive applications where E-PROPS fitment and the aircraft documentation support it. It is not presented as a universal alternative or a default Rotax 9 Series recommendation.

Application boundary

Aircraft model, engine, propeller flange, rotation, clearance, operating goal, and approved or accepted installation data determine whether this path is relevant.

Dealer Support Scope

What Lima Charlie Aero helps organize.

01

Selection

Aircraft, engine, gearbox, rotation, clearance, mission, and current-propeller review.

02

Ordering coordination

Configuration details, quote context, product questions, and order communication.

03

Installation planning

Aircraft documents, hardware, spinner, clearance, tracking, and work-scope preparation.

04

Vibration follow-up

Operating condition, gearbox and mounting context, measurement planning, and documentation.

Inquiry Checklist

Send enough context to make the first comparison useful.

  • Aircraft make, model, and N-number
  • Engine model and gearbox ratio, if known
  • Current propeller, diameter, and pitch, if known
  • Spinner diameter and tractor / pusher configuration
  • Performance goal: climb, cruise, STOL, economy, smoothness, noise, or weight
  • Photos of the propeller, spinner, hub, and cowling clearance
  • Current vibration or performance concern
  • Aircraft manuals and installation documents available to the owner

A model name is not a fitment decision.

Start with the aircraft and goal. Lima Charlie Aero will identify the missing configuration or documentation questions before an order path is treated as settled.

Installation, Vibration & Records

The propeller remains part of the complete aircraft system.

Installation planning

Hub, spinner, hardware, clearance, tracking, pitch setup, aircraft instructions, and work-scope boundaries stay connected.

Vibration context

Propeller condition, gearbox history, engine mounts, RPM range, recent work, and measured behavior are reviewed together.

Traceable decisions

Selection inputs, product configuration, supporting documents, owner goals, and follow-up observations remain identifiable.
